Mt Baker Beach in the Summer

This may be the first summer we take full advantage of our new-ish neighborhood. Seattle boasts a number of lakeside beaches, booming with locals trying to escape the heat and maximize the always fleeting summer heat waves. In Seattle, you whine about the rain until you whine about the heat, and the cycle continues for most of the year. Below are some of my recent photographs of people watching at the lake.

In other news: I deleted Twitter and have logged off most of my social media handles except my personal Instagram. I have so many people I still love following (friends mostly) that it’s hard to leave them behind. But this is likely the corner of the universe where I’ll share more regularly. Remember, you can always read the weekly newsletter at adlcworld.substack.com where I dive a bit deeper into themes around nostalgia, collaboration, growth, and my artistic journey.
